PirateCrew.com When Seton Hall's Kyle Smyth wrapped up his fourth year at Iona College with diploma in hand and an NCAA Tournament appearance under his belt, he took a second to think about his next move.
"After the season I thought about it really quick and I just wasn't sure if I wanted to finish at Iona for my fifth year," Smyth said. "But I'm extremely proud of being there four years and getting my degree and being part of the Iona family and community."
A native of River Edge, N.J., Smyth had been granted a medical red shirt following a freshman year that saw him miss all but one game. He sat out the first four games of the season with a bruised knee and then suffered a December ankle injury in practice that ended his season.
