Nick 'The Quick' Werkman

As the saying goes: Good things come to he who waits.





Nearly 50 years after completing one of the greatest playing careers in Seton Hall basketball history, Nick Werkman was honored this past weekend when the SHU / Providence game at the Prudential Center doubled as Nick Werkman Day.




While the Pirates may not have won on the court that day, the program and fans were winners in his eyes.




"My family was really happy with it. I was happy with it. Getting a standing ovation from the stands..... I just felt incredible joy, pride and satisfaction"
